At Joel’s Vision Ministries, our passion is leading children into the presence of Jesus.
Based in Eagle River, Alaska, our family-led ministry—Travis & Sara, our daughter Grace & her husband Phillip Jr., and our youngest son Seth—is committed to equipping churches, training leaders, and reaching the next generation with the love of Christ.
We believe in the life-changing power of the Gospel and in the plan of salvation according to Acts 2:38—repentance, baptism in Jesus’ Name, and the infilling of the Holy Ghost. We hold fast to the truth that no child is too young to be ready for heaven and that kids can experience a genuine, lasting relationship with Jesus.
From hands-on children’s ministry training to kid-focused services and events...even in remote villages... we believe every child deserves to know Jesus in a way they can understand. Through Children’s Crusades, puppetry, storytelling, and fun activities, our heart is to see kids, youth, and families transformed by His presence.
To expand our reach and support children’s ministers everywhere, we created KidMin Connect—an online training and support hub designed to empower, to equip, and to excel those serving in children’s ministry. Whether you’re brand new or have years of experience, KidMin Connect is a place where ALL children’s ministers can gather to learn, grow, and thrive in the calling God has placed on their lives.

Here are some ideas of what we do in our ministry, but we are always open to serving your needs in other capacities!
We conduct dynamic, Spirit-filled services where kids encounter the presence of God through worship, puppetry, storytelling, and prayer. These Crusades are designed to lead children and families to salvation and strengthen their walk with Jesus.
Through in-person and virtual workshops, we train children’s ministry teams in areas like storytelling, object lessons, puppet ministry, and altar ministry—equipping them to lead with confidence and creativity.
We travel to established churches, as well as, underserved and remote communities—especially in Alaska—to bring the Gospel to children and families who may not otherwise have access to regular ministry. No place is too far when eternity is on the line.
Our membership hub provides training, resources, and support for children’s ministers at every level. With on-demand courses, live trainings, and a growing network of passionate leaders, KidMin Connect helps you grow where you’re planted.

Yes! We regularly travel to churches, conferences, and remote villages—especially in Alaska—to lead children’s services, train ministry teams, and hold crusades. We’re available for bookings and love serving wherever God opens the door.
Joel’s Vision Ministries operates on faith and is supported through free-will donations and love offerings. We never want finances to be a barrier to ministry—our desire is simply to go wherever God leads and bless churches and communities along the way.
KidMin Connect is our online training and support community for children’s ministers. It offers courses, live trainings, and downloadable resources designed to empower, to equip, and to excel leaders at every level of ministry.
It’s for anyone serving in children’s ministry—whether you’re just getting started or have years of experience. Volunteers, teachers, Sunday School leaders, VBS directors, children’s pastors, and anyone with a heart for kids will find value and encouragement here.
Members get access to a growing library of video courses, object lessons, puppet scripts, printables, and ministry tools. We also host live trainings, 1-on-1 coaching, and offer a community space for connection and support.
KidMin Connect, our online membership community, does have a monthly fee to help support the development of courses, resources, and trainings. This small investment allows us to continually equip leaders and expand our reach. We believe the value far outweighs the cost, and we strive to keep it accessible for ministries of all sizes.
